On January 5th at 7:30pm, Chicago's renowned troubadour Mark Dvorak and Rockford's musical dynamo Ron Holm host a 'community singalong' concert in the acoustically-superb, highly accessible Emmanuel Lutheran Church sanctuary https://www.facebook.com/events/1841083236177779/ 920 3rd Ave, Rockford, Illinois. At 2pm Mark and Ron will host a harmony workshop for pre-registrants (see below). The concert will feature folk songs, original compositions, and pop songs with particularly engaging and "singable" melodies and lyrics. Dvorak and Holm have selected songs that "will bring our community together for a time of singing, harmonizing, and listening." Special guests, will join Mark and Ron for some surprise numbers. The suggested donation for this concert is $10. A choir of the first 15 pre-registrants who attend the 2pm workshop will have the opportunity to accompany Mark and Ron on the stage as part of a 7:30pm concert. Phone 815-979-1949 or email trinadoramusic@gmail.com with questions or to reserve your first-come-first-served place in the 2pm workshop. Doors open at 7:00pm. Light refreshments will be available before and during the concert.
